full day preschool
program
Our full-day Preschool program is designed for children starting at 2 years old. Our classrooms are comprised of mixed ages, allowing for children to connect with each other through their unique strengths and stretches. Curriculum is emergent, co-constructed with the children, and includes social-emotional skill building, small group investigations, long term project work, and materials exploration.
– Full day and year-round programs
– All preschool years, including TK, are offered at both the Sawtelle and Washington Campuses
– Children must be 2 years by September 30th at our Washington Campus or by November 30th at our Santa Monica & Sawtelle Campuses of their enrollment year to be eligible
– School closures include but are not limited to a two-week winter break, two-week summer break, one-week spring break and observed national holidays
– School hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm
– Drop-off is from 8:00am to 9:15am
– Pick-up is from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
– We offer 3, 4 or 5 day a week schedules
– We have extra-curricular programs available, such as gymnastics and yoga
full day preschool Spanish immersion
program
Our full-day preschool Spanish immersion program is designed for children starting at 2 years old. This program shares the same facets as the full day preschool program with the added feature of being in Spanish. Teachers teach in a 90% Spanish:10% English ration in our younger classrooms, while our older classroom is taught in a 75% Spanish:25% English ratio as we prepare children matriculating on to kindergarten. Children do not need to have prior experience with Spanish to enroll.

– Children must be 2 years old by December 1st of their enrollment year to be eligible for preschool

transitional kindergarten
program
Our Transitional Kindergarten program builds upon our preschool curriculum and is designed to meet the needs of our oldest children. Anchored by a strong social-emotional foundation, academic concepts are introduced and explored through teacher-facilitated small groups, in-depth classroom dialogue, and independent work with inspiring, open-ended materials. We support a variety of learning modalities as we engage deeply and meaningfully in literacy, mathematics, social studies, and science domains.

parent and me programs
infant
group
Our Parent-and-Me Infant Group provides parents a space for support, guidance, learning, and community. Group discussions on the topics of parenting, child development, brain development, and common challenges in early childhood take place during each session. During these discussions infants interact with new stimuli and, as they grow older, begin to form early connections with socialization. This group is for parents and babies newborn to 12 months.
– Infant group meets once a week
– Each session is typically 5 weeks long
– As of 2020, the nonrefundable fee per 5 weeks is $250

toddler
group
Our Parent and Me Toddler Group provides children aged 12 months to 3 years old with an introduction into group socialization within the context of a school setting. The children also gain experience exploring our indoor and outdoor school environment as well as navigating group transitions. While the children explore and connect, parents and adults are invited to join a group discussion led by a member of the administration team on topics regarding parenting, child development, brain development, common challenges in early childhood, etc. Toddler Group meets once a week for 1.5 hours and is typically offered in 6-8 week cycles.
– Toddler group meets once a week in the morning from 10 am – 11:30 am
– Each session is typically 6-8 weeks long
– As of 2022, the nonrefundable fee per 6 weeks is $420

Parent-and-Me programs enroll on a first come, first served basis.
Registration in the infant and toddler groups are completely separate from enrollment in the preschool. Children do not need to be enrolled in or applying to the preschool program in order to attend the Infant or Toddler Group.
*The classes are for children and parents to attend together. We understand that busy schedules and circumstances might get in the way, so we welcome alternate caregivers if needed (i.e. grandparents, nannies, aunts, etc.)
